I am so saddened by Mr. Reiner's passing. His comedy formed the background to my life as a kid, and I've never found anyone funnier. The world already seems like a much darker place (is that possible, these days) for having lost him.

You'll be missed, Mr. Reiner, not just because you were a very funny man but, also, because you were a very decent man.

Never a mention of a film he wrote and directed, which starred Dick Van Dyke - The Comic. A very dark take on Hollywood and stardom. And a very good film. He may be gone but his talent is still with us.
