I really wish they would do the same for the children of Yemen.

And those in the Sudan.

There's also ongoing fighting in Libya, please voice support for the innocent civilians there too.

Celebrity supporters and advocates for Yemen were among the signatories of a letter to US President Joe Biden asking for an end to the Saudi blockade. They include Mark Ruffalo, Skye Fitzgerald, The Phoenix family (Joaquin, Liberty, Summer, Rain), Orlando Bloom, Amy Schumer, Alyssa Milano, and others. The full list (plus the organisations they support) is in the link below.

Angelina Jolie has also been a persistent advocate for the people of Yemen.

And those in the Sudan.

George Clooney, one of the biggest stars in the world, is a long-time advocate to bring the world's attention to the situation in Sudan. Others include Rihanna and Ariana Grande. And, of course, Angelina Jolie.

(and many more)

So it's not true to say that celebrities care only about the situation in Ukraine, presumably with the inference that's because it's in Europe and involves the deaths of white people and the destruction of their towns and cities. Maybe the problem lies more with the reading habits and agendas of the people making those accusations.

Putin and the undisciplined, brutal Russian military must be quaking in their boots now that Barbra Streisand and Elton John are in a social media campaign.

In 2010 there were big time charity drives and songs made to benefit the victims of severe earthquakes in Haiti and Japan. There was the download 'We Are the World: Haiti 25' with different singers and new lyrics (it was SO horrible; most people just paid to make a contribution and threw the downloaded song into the 'trash'. Fact.) and Mercy Corps had a blog page where you could write condolences and support for Japanese children. I did that many times before it was all translated and emailed out.

And hardly anybody in those two nations is white.

Ukraine is hogging all the media and i would like to see more world news. Ukraine should be in the news (no doubt about that) but let's have more balanced world reporting

"to help fund humanitarian efforts in Ukraine and other regions of the world."

They may all be covered and in line for help.
