The “Great Pumpkin” never showed on broadcast television this year,

Could have fooled me. Feel like he's been on the telly every single minute, 24/7.

Good grief!

I didn't know there was a Thanksgiving special. I've never seen it.

Which channel is that in JAPAN? Because surely this must be Japan relevant given its Japan Today

Apple TV Japan works different than Apple TV America which requires an American Apple Account. Apple TV you can upload your own home videos. I don't use Apple TV except for my own use and have two Apple TV's connected to my computers. I use it mostly for podcasts and stuff for my paintings.

Gotta say I don’t ‘get’’ Apple TV. The app is preinstalled on my iPhone and iPad with a year’s free subscription, but whenever I search for a programme or film to watch, it either tries to sell/rent it to me, or redirects me to Amazon Prime or Netflix.

Apple TV itself doesn’t seem to actually do anything.

As I understand it, and I'm not a user, so this is only what I've understood from reading: Apple TV has its own programming, but you can also add your netflix and amazon prime accounts to the app, and it will show all those programs through one interface, rather than having to switch apps to search through them.
