The remake is basically a CCP propaganda and Disney throwing all moral and dignity out the window for money.

They altered the story so that Mulan is protecting the kingdom (the government) rather than protecting her family and loved ones.

The movie also changed the messaging so that those born special and skilled can make it in life whereas others should just marry. This is a such depressing message to send out, especially to young girls watching this.

Don't even get me started on how the main actress supported the HK police oppressed freedom, or the movie being filmed near a concentration camp where Uighur people are suffering.

I'm glad this movie was a flop.

Yeah, the CCP told them they wouldn't like it didn't they? That's right now, be a loyal Communist and hate this film! Good boy!

This even after the actors voiced support of the CCP? Interesting...

Disney puts out crap anyway. No one really cares what China thinks of it either. Let's not put any more articles about this lame movie in JT, please.

I wonder whether this film is dubbed or subtitled in China.

We get it, Mulan is bad. How many more articles do we need?

Disney has dried up on talent that can make original stories. They need to stop making live action movies of old popular cartoons.

And Star Wars.

Why did they remove the dragon side kick? Why live action? At least in the winnie the pooh live action they kept the characters. Chris robin wasn't talking to air...pooh bear was still there.

This would have made a better live-action Mulan.

'Aladdin' is an old Arabic tale that Disney gave a nice twist to thanks in large part to Robin Williams. I didn't even bother with the recent remake, I knew the magic wasn't there.

The recent 'Paddington Bear' movie was pretty good but then again that wasn't recycled over and over again, was it? You can translate books like that and translate them to the cinema. I liked it.

Disney, Marvel Comics, STAR TREK, et. al ---- wimpified ninny bastardized trash. Remake = TRASH. Recycled, rubbish for the masses. I saw three trailers for a 'Ghostbusters' in name only ---- TRASH. And they keep saying there's gonna be a 'Top Gun 2' after 30+ years. 30 years is longer than nearly all military careers and the world has completely changed since 1986. So why bother with it now?

Hollywood has run out of ideas completely. Mr. Rogers sez, ' 'Can you say "unoriginal"'? Can you say,"TRASH"'?
