Not a fan of superhero movies. Is there popularity something to do with Christianity, also popular in the US?

The superhero movies of today are complete bastardized garbage, untrue to their original intent. Christianity is a religion and unfortunately a lot of people have done the same bunged-up job to it in its name too. It gets twisted up. Is there a correlation? I doubt it. Marvel Comics had an underlying 'message' to it, Christianity is a good positive faith in a merciful loving God who created all of us - but both get cheapened.

Figure it out if you can.

Cinemah is for deep thought, while the movies are for entertainment?

Fair enough, but there's certainly room for both. No need for snobbery.
