Outfit worn by Christopher Reeve in the movie "Superman"

Unless superman is a girl, take a closer look at that photo (hands) it is clearly a woman.

Clark Kent is now a blogger who aspires to be published by Huffington Post. Oy.

Farmboy, I agree.

If it was superboy or superman's cousin or some other spinoff, I wouldn't care, but original plots should probably be left asis. Especially something as obvious as superman's profession. Come to think of it, spidy is a teenager now and batman is more of a lunatic than a hero, so I guess we have to adapt.

As I grow older, I started to find superman is getting bored. Any idiot could see the guy in glasses is the same man as superman. And, wearing underwear on the outside, that is just weird. Of course, you can also say that Clark's co-workers actually know he is superman but decided to play along. After all, you do not want to make a guy with super human strength and potential mental issue (first indication is wearing underwear on the outside) angry. That being said, a serious rework or update is needed. So instead of continuing of the story, might as well start form scratch.

Back in the 70s, Clark Kent stopped working for the Daily Planet and began working as a television news anchor. He's also dated women other than Lois in the past.

Or in other words, why are people who clearly never pay attention to the comics getting worked up about something they don't even read?

And in regards to the citizenship thing, it was basically a non-issue. He's technically an illegal alien.
