Clint Eastwood back in the saddle at 91 for 'Cry Macho'

What an icon. 91 and still going strong. What a wonderful!

Always stoked to see a new Eastwood movie come out. He's one of the last few who hasn't been duped by the "woke" bug. Eastwood's the man.

I’ve actually enjoyed his recent movies. They always carry a thoughtful message or two.

Always liked Eastwood. Kudos to him for such strong spirit at 91. I wish I have the same at his age.

His movies are great. Especially the more recent ones. They're obviously a reflection of what he feels about life as he comes to the end of it.

Amazingly, his work gets better and better with age.

And ALL, without the current kow-towing to studio execs, ‘no-nothing’ & inexperienced mewling ‘creatives’ and tiresome social-politics.

Clint's recent movies have been understated studies of identity and vulnerability - struggling with Irish Catholic angst, demographic woes and senile naïveté. Bravo!

A good western man still going stronger but how many horses fell so hardly on the ground in his early years, does he not regret? Or at least maybe it's about time he can give donation to poor horses to be taken care of.

In his final years, Eastwood now portrays interesting themes. Most are of an elderly person passing something on WHILE learning something from a younger generation. Well, skipping a generation, … or two.

Gran Torino. Then, The Mule. And now, Cry Macho or, without spoiling the plot The Coyote (Bringing illegals across the U.S. Mexico border.

Yes. In that respect he very much resembles Bruce Springsteen.

That's like comparing Ab Lincoln to Jimmy Carter.

But as ever, you only acknowledge talent from your side of the fence.

No, I just acknowledge true talent. From an accomplished pianist to actor, director and politician, the guy did it all, the guy is nothing but a talented legend and then to even direct and walk around like a spring chicken, that is nothing but miraculous.

His movies are fun to watch, but really, throwing a punch at 91 is likely to result in multiple, self-inflicted broken bones......to his fingers, his fist, his wrist, and his arm. Still, I wish him well.

It has been amazing to see the evolution of Eastwood’s career from his early days as the tough cowboy and cop to the more cerebral films he has been making in recent years. He is able to make films about differences among people that make you think not how to think. Hollywood could learn much from this type of film making as opposed to the Marxist social justice propaganda they are furiously pumping out these days.

Big fan of his but his last few movies have been disappointing.

Squinting Clint shoulda hung up his cowboy boots decades ago. His overrated movies are as dull and limp as his politics. He's just another superficial macho creation of Tinseltown boosterism that Hans Christian Andersen would have relished scripting into a suitable butt of derision.
