This really is a marvellous and thoroughly off-the-wall film.

However. If you're not a Coen Bros fan, it might not be for you.

The opening story (with Tim Blake Nelson) is quite bonkers and you wonder if it sets the tone for the rest of the movie. Not quite, it goes to some poignant places and some dark corners of the mythical Wild West.

The Tom Waits segment is my own favorite story but then, I am biased. Have been a fan of Waits for decades. So it's a good combination, some of my favorite movie-makers and a fave singer-songwriter.

More of that, please!

I enjoyed the movie! It was a little bit of nostalgia.
