American comedian Dave Chappelle called the Israeli war on Hamas in Gaza a “genocide” Thursday to cheers during his performance in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, while urging Americans to fight antisemitism so Jews don’t feel like they need to be protected by Israel.

Chappelle has a very good take.

Leave it to a brilliant comedian like him.

Love Chappelle! The most funniest and deepest thinking Comedian, absolute genius.

Yeah, he's pointing out a forgotten truth: neither the Palestinians nor the Jews living in the US have had anything to do with that war. Neither group should be threatened, harmed, or blamed. Neither side did anything wrong. If any of them pick up a rifle and go there to fight then there would be an issue.

It’s not ‘deep thinking’ to understand that criticism of Israel’s actions is not antisemitism.

Do you agree with his condemnation of Israel’s war on Hamas as genocide? I most certainly do.

You can't block roads to hospitals, workplaces or airports either for people that have their own livelihoods to attend to.

Suggesting superiority or inferiority based on ethnicity is always wrong all the time. Don’t do it.

No.1, You can't tell me what to do and nor should you.

No.2, Just because a fact is inconvenient it doesn't make it false.

No.3, The fact in question is backed by an undeniable mountain of evidence that available to all. If you're unwilling to engage with it, or unable to do so, it's not my problem; est quod est.

No.4, You're virtue signaling, and most people can see through it.

Since 1950, 29 percent of Nobel Prizes have been awarded to Ashkenazi Jews

Over 80% of Nobel Prizes have been awarded to men. Are they smarter than women?

IQ is distributed along a bell curve. Males are more highly represented on the tail ends of the distribution for all aspects of their genotype (this is across pretty much all species, by the way, due to having a y chromosome and being nature's play thing, as males woo while females choose - this is what Darwin explained when he put forth his theory of sexual selection in 1859), while females tend to be grouped around the middle. This means there are more really stupid and really smart men, but on average, men and women have the same IQ.

***I wrote 'genotype' but meant to write 'phenotype'.

I disagree.

No, I don't.

Of course you do.

Yes.

This is what Israel is up against...something the Palestinians have vowed to do...again...and again...and again...

Good on you Dave.

No.1, You can't tell me what to do and nor should you.

Sure, I can. I did. You don’t have to like it.

No.2, Just because a fact is inconvenient it doesn't make it false.

”You secretly hate Jews because they are smarter than you” is not a fact.

No.3, The fact in question is backed by an undeniable mountain of evidence that available to all. If you're unwilling to engage with it, or unable to do so, it's not my problem; est quod est.

Proponents of ethnic or racial superiority usually claim scientific evidence.

No.4, You're virtue signaling, and most people can see through

No no no. I’m calling out your abhorrent comment which has since been deleted.

Anti-semitism? That's on the Israelis! Netanyahu and his cronies, Biden and the West have done the rest to fuel real antisemitism more than anyone since the man with the mustache.

dunno about entertainers mouthing off about politics...

but I agree with him

Historically, Jews were mistreated in Europe, and then Jews abused Palestinians in the Middle East.

Isn't the original cause due to white people?

Yet another performer who doesn’t know what genocide is. Or is he just pandering to an audience? “Oh, no, no, no! Performers never pander!!!”

“Fight antisemitism”? Now that’s a brilliant and original idea.

You can’t fight an idea. You must persuade people of the fallacy of the idea.

The problem is that although you persuade someone that an idea is false, they may still use it to mask a primordial feeling. A Nazi may not actual hate Jews, he just enjoys beating the crap out of someone. Same with “revolutionaries” such as antifa: acts of destruction soothe the savage beneath.

Same thing innit?

Yet another performer who doesn’t know what genocide is. Or is he just pandering to an audience?

Or maybe he is of the opinion that it's genocide, and wants to have his voice. As an anonymous poster, having your voice online, is that so strange?

Love Chappelle

But according to your definition, he’s an anti-Semite. He’s criticizing Israel’s actions in Gaza.

Abu Dhabi has maintained its diplomatic relations with Israel even as it has increasingly criticized its conduct in the seven-month war.

Credit to this Arab country for its support of Israel.

Yet another performer who doesn’t know what genocide is.

How true.
