Riverdale will never be the same! I always thought Reggie would be the first to fall.

I don/t know... they probably will revive him like Marvel did with Captain America....

It should be noted the storyline in the Life With Archie series is almost out of the continuity we all know so well from the Archie comic books--I almost consider it an alternate reality like DC Comics' Elseworlds series or Marvel Comics' What If? series.

Has there been an Archie movie made yet? Surprised nobody has milked that cow yet if not.

Was this announced on Tuesday of last week, by any chance?

Archie who?

Murdered by Gangstas', no doubt. "Jacked"; if you will. Veronica got kidnapped at the same time.

I don't know who "Archie" is. Would that be like killing off Doraemon?

Whose life did he save, Betty's or Veronica's?

now this is a hell of a spoiler.

It's about time they killed off Archie. Now, if they'll just kill off Jughead, Veronica, Betty and Reggie...

Considering how long the Archie comic has been running (since December 22, 1941), I guess the Japanese equivalent would be killing-off Astroboy or some other long-running manga character?

In issue no. 38, Jughead is actually the father of Archie and Betty is the mother...

It has to be a set-up. They'll turn it into something where he or a friend was dreaming but then wakes up. Loved the Archies when I was a kid.

Emmm Astroboy (Atomu) is destroyed at the end of the story... As for Doraemon, the consensus is that in the end he malfunctions and stop working at all, this trigger Nobita to study hard and became a robotic science doctor or something in order to fix Doraemon.

A big difference with Japanese and American comics is that, in the Japanese versions, the characters grow old and even die. Most mangas have an END. Something that in most american comics is nonexistent.

I do love, Spidey, Batman, Green Lantern, BusterGold, Hulk, Kitty Pride, etc., but really... there is no end to their stories they go on and on and on and on. They revamp them and go on and on and on again....
