Cowell says he's leaving 'American Idol'

I am devastated, because I like him so much and I can watch him on American Idol on TV but I cannot watch X-Factor. Please, dear Simon, please reconsider.

ps. I watch the Am. Idol because of him and his chemostry with Paula Abdul, now they both will be gone.

So what.

So what for some, sure, but Simon is a genius...or an evil genius. Think about it---people watch to hate him, thus increased ratings and more ad money. He promotes horrible music like that WWF record, yet it sells millions of copies. He knows what the massess will buy, and watch. This is a blow for AI, but FOX and Simon will win as he created and owns X Factor.

Who cares?

Is there any discernible difference between the X Factor and Idol? Or Britain's Got Talent, for that matter?

If I had Cowell's money, I'd a) not work so much and b) get a new barber.

This season, original host Paula Abdul has been replaced by Ellen DeGeneres.

With the above and no Simon Cowell, I think the show is goneski.

Is Simon a jerk? yeah. is Simon worth 36 million USD a year? Answer is yes, because some one will give it to him. Economic law rules again.

He is smart if he can make so much money.

In this day and age when everyone wants fame even when undeserved, a sudden reality check when you've been daydreaming for years sure hurts. And that's why people hate Simon Cowell, for dashing the hopes of wannabes.
