Da Pump, w-inds rock for United Vision Dance Festa

Major talent management office Vision Factory took over Shibuya-AX this week with United Vision Dance Festa Vol. 1, a dance and music event featuring popular male artists such as Da Pump and w-inds' Ryohei Chiba and Ryuichi Ogata.

A total of 74 performers were on hand to heat up the crowd of 3,800 fans, including Lead, R&B artist Daichi Miura and special guests from Aomori Yamada High School's rhythm gymnastics team. Headlining artists mixed things up, with Chiba, Ogata, Lead and Miura competing with Da Pump on their hit "We can't stop the music," and five other songs.

Da Pump's vocalist Issa commented, "This is really like an 'otoko matsuri' (guy's festival). It was a great experience, I really enjoyed it."

Ogata said, "I was inspired to take up dancing because of Da Pump, so I was really happy to join."

The second event will take place June 5 at Zepp Tokyo in Aomi.
