This isn't a mere slip of the tongue. An apology because of big loss of earnings?

Social media moves so fast that people want to demolish you before you even have the opportunity to grow

Opportunity to grow? He's a grown man and this happened like within a week ago.

Who knew that much of rap culture is homophobic, mysogonist and violent? Crybaby will survive this because much of his fanbase will agree with his comments.

While on stage, the rapper used crude language and asked attendees who weren’t gay men or people not affected by HIV or AIDS to raise their cellphone flashlights. He then incorrectly said the disease would “make you die in two or three weeks.”

We, the readers, do not need to know what a journalist thought DaBaby said. We need to know what he actually said and in context. Otherwise we cannot determine if he is homophobic, i.e. holds an irrational fear, or not.

The juvenile crap this cretin said shows a gross ignorance about not just AIDS or homosexuality but a whole lot more. The things he said were offensive and downright disgusting, insulting and degrading not just to gays but to women, people with AIDS (gay and straight), relatives and friends of the aforementioned people, and many others. His language was pornographic and that is offensive to many. His uncouth delivery is also offensive to many. Crude, rude, lewd.

It's a sure bet he's homophobic, even if he may not truly know what homosexuality truly is. And 'homophobia' = 'HOMO' (same, as in same-sex) + 'PHOBIA' (fear) so yes, I'd say his remarks reflect a great fear of what he knows nothing about and his ignorance and cruddy vocabulary also reflects a lack of insight and intelligence. And his recent 'apology' music video is even worse. It's disgusting.

Much of the entertainment industry is perpetually morally outraged while at the same time being morally corrupt to the core.
