Good for you Mr. Lewis. Though I wouldn't be surprised to see him in a film ten years later. I don't see how he could top "There Will Be Blood."

He has always been a tremendous actor. I am sure he will be tremendous in other jobs. Good luck to him, though he will be missed on screen.

Hanging up his spurs, top man! Always loved his acting since i first watch my left foot. Retiring now is a choice decision unlike man other greats who cant let go and end up doing very poor movies just to stay in the limelight.

Enjoy it Mr Lewis you deserve it mate!

Who?

You lead a very uninformed life. Check out his penultimate performance as John Prester in "The Crucible." He has always been an actor's actor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gj635laKpY0

His performances in A Room with a View and In the Name of the Father were mesmerising. Hard to believe it was the same actor.
