If you really want to watch that, wait for it to be free.

If you really want to watch that, wait for it to be free.

Or, if you really want to watch it, you could pay for it.

It will be either on

1) Disney+ where available : Japan

2) In theaters in countries where coronavirus is under control and theaters are open : China, Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore

So Japanese audiences will have to turn to Disney+ if they are interested.

While Japanese audiences may not be interested in Mulan, they will miss out on Warner's TENET, which will only be shown in theaters.

With all the controversies surrounding this movie, it was already DOA anyway.

This movie is a dud. Many fans of the cartoon version will skip it because they removed most of the songs and Mushu. Chinese audience will not watch it because they already have numerous and better versions produced in China.

I don't see why anyone would pay more than the cost of a movie ticket to stream a movie? I was already not interested because of the songs being cut, and thought I might bother to what it once it was included at no extra cost in a streaming service.

Have you seen it already?

I'd like to see this, but $30 to rent it (not even own it!) on top of a Disney Plus subscription?? Absolutely not.

$30 rental amount for 2k video and stereo sound (disney plus limitation in Japan) is too much. Better wait for bluray release.

Waiting for the PB release.

$30 to rent it (not even own it!)

Well, Disney says you get to replay it unlimited times for the duration of your Disney+ account subscription, so it is sort of an "own".

Mu what???..

That's better than I thought it was, but it's still not acceptable. If I pay $30 for something, I'd want it to be mine in perpetuity. I suppose you can only achieve this with physical media, however.
