Hail! Ass. - Agree with you & TokyoJoe about Disney & Marvel destroying themselves. However, ‘Geeks & Gamers’ alike love the Avatar: Flight of Passage ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Will watch this sequel just to see what happens and if Cameron will do what he did to Terminator: Dark Fate.

Disney is a shadow of their former self. All this woke Bs in all their kids cartoons and what they did to Depp. I won't be supporting them anymore.

@TokyoJoe agreed. When they fired Gina Carano I cancelled Disney plus. Now this relentless pushing of the alphabet people agenda, I'm switching to daily wire kids.

I won't bother. It's over 13 years past the original, which was such a cliché-ridden piece of trash, my cliche-meter/BS detector went into maximum overload and I had to throw it into a dumpster before it blew up.

It's not fun or funny anymore. Just like the STAR WARS franchise is a shadow of its former self, STAR TREK movies are soap operas light-years away from Gene Roddenberry's visions and may I mention Marvel movies?

And while 'Top Gun' was an unrealistic flick for armchair generals, I know as a veteran that the supposedly sequel coming out soon is going to be trash. I hate Hollywood. They've had all this time to use their noodles and come up with fresh ideas but they didn't.

Well then @starpunk 12:45pm, You could write for current SciFi. That’s been Act III of most films & TV in the last 10 years: “ __ detector went into maximum overload and had to throw it into a dumpster before it blew up.” -

Act I introduces all characters, their pronouns & sexual preferences and, of course, the one, already-powerful protagonist. No hero’s journey needed.

In Act II, everyone talks about their feelings and how they’ve struggled with identity issues. Then, in Act III, “all-powerful” saves the universe and imposes their form of order as society’s only salvation.

Sorry Ass Terminator movies after *T2: Judgement Day *never happened, according to James Cameron himself

*- @Ass 11:51am:[what Cameron did to Terminator: Dark Fate.] - “What did he do?” …*

Don’t want to spoil any of the recent epic failms for any here that may like wasting their time & money. The studios have done a good job of it. Maybe that’s the current lessons they’re grooming er, teaching kids nowadays.

What did he do? Was that the one where the terminator was an eleven year old boy? I heard some news online that it was woke garbage so I did what I always do, ignored the movie and threw my TV out the window.

@starpunk

The recent push for such loud and obnoxious woke virtue singalling from Hollywood is precisely because they're degenerate perverts, guilty of all the worst crimes they presume to be fighting against.

Same.

I can't remember what happened in 'Avatar' - just that it was a bit too long. I have no desire to wear 3D glasses to watch a movie, I don't care for superhero movies and I'm not that interested in American history. This piece suggests that my switch to Kdrama was the right call.

I don't mind if Hollywood makes movies (and the BBC, TV dramas) for a different demographic, but chasing activist mandates with overly didactic material may reduce their audience figures and the artistic quality of their movies.

When they fired Gina Carano I cancelled Disney plus.

She got what she deserved. I have no issue with that, but I hope she seeks out help with her issue.

Been looking forward to Avatar 2 since I saw Avatar. I hope it is worth the wait.
