Dive into the world of anime with this year’s return of Aniplex Online Fest

Aniplex Online Fest 2021 is back for the second year running.An online event where anime fans from across the world gather to enjoy the latest information in anime, as well as watch live performances from artists of their favorite anime songs completely free of charge.

The first event took place in July of last year, and was attended by more than 800,000 people who were tuning in from home. Aniplex Co is thrilled to announce this year the online event will take place yet again, and is scheduled for Sunday July 4.

Though further details and the complete day schedule will be released at a later date, Aniplex has unveiled that the first lineup will consist of performances and information regarding "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," "Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night," "Fate/Grand Order Anime Project" and the 10th anniversary project of "Puella Magi Madoka Magica."

The main visual for the event (featured above) was created by illustrator and animator Saki Takahashi and can be seen in full on the official Aniplex Online Fest website.

So just the usual newish popular titles? There are a lot of quality works in Japan that would benefit from exposure to a bigger international audience.
