DJ OZMA, who will retire from the entertainment world at the end of this year, performed his last concert on Saturday night at Yokohama Arena.
At the end of the show, he said: “I’d like to say thanks to my parents, to all those in the industry that have helped me over the past three years, and to the women that have become the subject of rumors.”
He then turned his back to the crowd and walked up some stairs on stage, where he took off his pants, generating laughter from the full crowd of 10,000. He continued to walk up the steps fully naked, turned his head to say one last goodbye, and disappeared backstage. Two guys dressed-up as comedy group Tunnels then ran out on stage and mourned over his retirement.
DJ OZMA later said he was still hoping to get a spot on NHK’s "Red and White Singing Contest" on New Year’s Eve, and said he has plans to loiter around NHK studios on the day.© Japan Today
