I disagree. The woman has a good head on her shoulders, isn't desperate to get married and has done very well for herself, with and without a man to support her. I wish them both happiness.

Congratulations and all happiness to them both. She sounds like a smart woman in control of her life and her own publicity, who has had some hardship and loss in her life, and has powered on through. Admirable.

Not that strange, really. Men are still capable of starting a family well into middle age so a man marrying much younger could be simply a delayed desire for offspring. A woman on the back-end of her 40's marrying a man much younger probably isn't looking to have more kids. Couple that with history. Throughout the ages men of wealth have had marriages arranged with other families' teenaged daughters. So it has happened MUCH more often than the reverse.

Yeah, "a dream come true" for any cougar lady out there. Right on, another "cougar" success story...

Moderator: this is incorrect. DCT was started by Masato Nakamura (bassist) in 1988, and was originally a trio until Takahiro Nishikawa (keyboards) was forced to quit after a drug charge. And DCT had a much more huge following than just female fans, including fans of both genders in the US and the UK.

Good for her Japanese men entertainers wait until they are nearly 40 if the woman don't get pregnant first before taking a bride because they marry women usually 10 to 20 years younger. It makes a shortage of marriageable men in your age group. This is the only way women will be able to balance their odds or risk spending the rest of their lives alone.
