Please let this mean Canada has to take him back.

He's messed up. Too much too young.

This kid has got a real problem.

Hope remains:

A noncitizen whose criminal record contains an aggravated felony – whether that person has a green card or other U.S. status, or is undocumented – is most likely headed for deportation (removal) from the United States. In fact, the proceedings may take place very quickly, on an “expedited” basis. (See Section 238 of the Immigration and Nationality Act or I.N.A.)

tumbledry: I fail to imagine how eggs could cause 20,000$ worth of damage...

Apparently the facade of the house has to be replaced with Venetian plaster and at least one door has to be refinished. Dried eggs can cause serious damage to paint, plaster and varnish. I imagine that people who live in this neighborhood don't do things by halves when it comes to their houses which accounts for the cost of the damage.

If I was that neighbour I would bring all to bear on the little scallywag. Gloves off, see you in court.

Maybe somebody should set Beiber up with Miley? They'd make quite the couple; the tabloids would love it.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I guess that as a Canadian Bieber has no fourth amendment rights.

In checking, I do not believe his being Canadian would have anything to do with it. Unless I am mistaken, there are two possibilities: One, the police obtained a warrent. Two, they asked to enter the house and were allowed to do so. If the drugs were in plain sight, the police could then seize them.

Anyway, doesn't he have anything better to do than throw eggs at someone's house?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Okay, seriously, what they were doing is trying to get surveillance video from Bieber's security cameras concerning the egg tossing. But still...a felony search warrant...over some egg tossing. I don't find that search and seizure to be reasonable at all.

The search warrant was granted based on the claimed damaged by the owner. True or not, I do not know, but $20,000 or ¥2,000,000 damage is nothing to sneeze at and is a serious charge.

When I hear someone make claims like this, it makes me think he is just the type of neighbor whose house you will yearn to pelt with eggs.

Be that as it may, it should be against the law to damage another person's home. He should know better

1 ( +1 / -0 )

So serious, the home owner should be arrested for making it! There is no way that much was damage was caused.

Anything is possible. However, to get a search warrant, the police had to show the judge that there was probable cause. They made their case, got the warrant and the search was allowed to take place.

I am sure this could have been cleared up without resorting to a raid.

Perhaps, but maybe a raid is just what Justine Bieber needs to teach him that doing this kind of thing is a bad idea.

Bieber just keeps skating along - yet another case of money buying someone out of trouble. When will celebs learn that they are no better, and in many cases much worse than everyone else. He punk ass should be thrown in a real jail for a month or two to teach him some manners and respect.

" .. $20,000 has to be mostly the jacked-up fee for a cleaning crew in a yup-yup neighborhood like this."

Not at all. These homes are top-tier custom homes, not lowbrow shanties. The shrubbery costs six figures.

TumbleDry: Eggs, and egging, seem relatively harmless, but dried egg is incredibly hard to clean and the cleaning can do damage. I had my house in Canada egged once by some neighbours and cleaning it took the paint off the wood on the pillars of my front porch. I'm ashamed to say that as a youth I once, on Devil's Night, egged the car of an obnoxious neighbour. Happy to say I was caught, and as penance forced to clean the car for quite some time. Not that bad of an exercise, in the end, but getting the egg off initially took a whole lot of elbow grease (fortunately no paint came off).

As for Bieber, the kid is going down in flames.

This kid is out of control! He has to take responsibility for his actions, arrest, book, and let him spend a couple of months in a detention centre with some real bad boys. He's playing the roll of a little gangster, if this is the case, he should be treated as such. Just a thought.

Detectives searching pop singer Justin Bieber’s Los Angeles mansion over an egg-throwing attack seized illegal drugs and arrested one of the singer’s associates on Tuesday, officials said

What an idiot.

What I don't get is why he isn't arrested on drug charges that were found in his home. If they are sitting out in the open it would be hard to determine that they weren't his unless one of his groupies takes the fall for him.

Eggselent. i guess they were all coked up and enegaged in some teenage hi jinks. egging is pretty lame though. If this is what passes for bad behaviour among modern music stars we are living in a pretty tame era.

Just say your sorry B! Sorry mis huevos! (sorry my eggs)

They must have been petrified eggs, or a whole helluva lot of them... $20,000 has to be mostly the jacked-up fee for a cleaning crew in a yup-yup neighborhood like this. Retire from public view already, Biebs!

@laguna

LOL do you know how many no citizen come here and commit crimes and remain? Your wuote doe t hold water especially under this presidential administration.

Yeah, Justin who?

Twenty grand worth of damage from eggs? Seriously? We're they hard boiled? We're they ostrich eggs? I think his neighbour is trumping it up a bit, but why not? This little punk deserves everything he gets.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

The damage from the eggs has more to do with what was damaged than with the quality of the offending implement used.

Cut up the Mona Lisa with a nice samurai sword or with the keys to a bicycle (or get egg and egg shell on it and let it dry) and the damage will be the value of the painting, not the value of the sword/ key/ egg.

I'd feel sorrier for this poor kid if he were less annoying. But still, he is just another used and abused teen star.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

No more Bieber news. He's not worth it. If he was dealing with/taking/transferring illicit drugs, then take him to the big boys, err, I mean big house.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

It is an Eggspiracy!

His friend Lil Za was arrested. That is why Bieber was not arrested over the drugs. Not that I give two figs about some guy putting drugs in his own body.

In checking, I do not believe his being Canadian would have anything to do with it.

Sarcasm does not lend itself well to text.

Yes. They obtained a warrant. If Bieber had an open carton of eggs in his fridge, and some eggs are missing, he is toast.

Okay, seriously, what they were doing is trying to get surveillance video from Bieber's security cameras concerning the egg tossing. But still...a felony search warrant...over some egg tossing. I don't find that search and seizure to be reasonable at all.

The side of this guy's house ain't the Mona Lisa. The claim of $20,000 damage is either completely bogus, or his house is made of an egg-soluable platinum polymer.

When I hear someone make claims like this, it makes me think he is just the type of neighbor whose house you will yearn to pelt with eggs.

It is a serious charge. So serious, the home owner should be arrested for making it! There is no way that much was damage was caused. It might be the cost of tearing down entire walls and replacing them new, but not the cost of the damage nor the cost of a reasonable repair. Can't be.

Be that as it may, it should be against the law to damage another person's home.

I think it is. But I place home search and seizures on a higher priority than a home damaged by eggs. One is a rights issue, the other, a property issue. I am sure this could have been cleared up without resorting to a raid.

Sounds like a prank gone too far in a neighborhood where Mr. Bieber is only new money. The drug possession was icing on the cake and the go ahead for LA prosecutors to make some money. 20 grand in damage is going to cost upwards of 150 grand to stay out of jail. Got to love LA.

You threw an egg at your neighbor's house? Well, we need to rifle through your underwear drawer now, check the contents of your laptop and get a DNA sample.
