I'm really sorry to hear that Andy is going through such a hardship.

Duran x2 is one of the most amazing UK bands.

Was just chatting with a former coworker this weekend who mentioned he started going to the doctor for his annual exams at the urging of another coworker who recently had the early stages of prostrate cancer. Other coworker received treatment and cancer is now in remission.

Guys, this is a preventable form of cancer but it can kill you if left unchecked. Please go in for your annual exam if you haven't started doing so already.

I am a prostate cancer survivor. It was removed in 2020 and I have been cancer free.

He has my sympathy.

Dont forget to have a colonoscopy every 5 years from age 50, earlier if a relative had it. Colon cancer can be dealt with easily in early stages, but so deadly later.

This is what took the life of Johnny Ramone. He was just 54.

He has mine too. Glad you got it taken care of in time.

Duran Duran is a terrific band, one of my faves. The Bowie/Roxy influences are strong. I remember when the milquetoast critics dismissed them and sassed off about DD as being just pretty boys/glamor boys, videogenic sexy hunks and that's it. Man were they WRONG. The critics claimed that the dumb Replacements were the 'Band of the 80's' and where are they now? The radio in my hometown was clogged with Air Supply in the early 80's, where are they now? WTH happened to ASIA?

I have always loved this band and I always will. And I'm very glad that they are now in the HOF because they deserve it. And they're still making great music to this very day, their recent CD is very good. They have never stood still; they just keep on rolling. Congratulations!
