I have heard his new CD on the bandcamp site and I must say it's one of his better works. One of the best from M83 and one of the best to be released in 2023 so far, period.

He's got a point to days music sucks!! It crack head, drug laced subliminal music with a language that invents new words in a messed up world!!

I like to think it comes down to good songwriting. Look at Depeche Mode, for example. Who in 1980 thought these synth boys would be massively popular and active 40 years later?
