Elton John: Still standing at 75

Never did like this dudes music at all.

One of the best acts to see live of all time.

Kind of lost it in the 90s

They couldn't find a picture of him standing?

That aside, props to his career, his songwriting, and his resurrection of an old friend in Leon Russell.

Respected him until he got knighted.

Recently I have watched a YT video, in which he was singing one of my favorite songs, "Chosen Family" by a Japanese singer song writer, Rina Sawayama, with her. He's still got a beautiful voice at 75.

Have to give kudos for his longevity and still having a passion for music. Certainly doesn't need to do it for the money that's for sure.

Love his music. "Daniel", "Your song", "Don't go breaking my heart", and "Island girl" are my all-time favorites. Oh, and of course, "I'm still standing".

He is a Pop, Not a Rock.

Songs sounds all same melody, indeed boring music.

Looking like a true survivor feeling like a little kid

I understand music is subjective, but Elton John is the pure embodiment of a classic pop musician, from the early 70s until now the guy has left a musical and historical mark on the planet with timeless classics, listened to him as a little kid, and now as a middle-aged man the guy was a genius even more so back when he and Bernie Taupin were writing hit after hit after hit. Each song takes me back to a certain time, a decade, a memory that always left a mark on me. You can't go to a Karaoke bar without seeing the guy's songs in every music catalog. And sure he may not be everyone's cup of tea, but you have to give it to the guy for being active and musically creative even at this stage in his life.

Talented man. Knows how to craft songs and put on a performance with the best of them.

Keep doing what you’re very good at.

Lyrics written by Bernie Taupin, who wrote the lyrics to all of Elton’s hits. He’s just as much of an icon as Elton John.
