Not much of a rap fan, but Eminem has this distinct talent with playing on words, or poetry if you will. Very talented compared to others out there.

I agree. I still remember when he first came out and we all wondered if he was going to fade out in a few years. And look at him now. Congrats, Eminem.

His latest album is his best work to date. Very honest and quite deep. I was blown away by it despite not being a rap fan.

The Grammys, like all other awards ceremonies, are a sham. Like the greatest-ever said, "Who gives a fcuk about a gotdamn Grammy?!" P.E. & Chuck D.

Give me radio friendly J-pop any day. I get enough profanity from the tv, I don't need it in my music too.

I hate Eminem. This fool raps about hating his mother, about wanting to beat her up and then raping his own mother, what kind of sick SOB is this fool Eminem? No, sorry, it can be a Black idiot talking rapping about shooting police and selling drugs or a White fool rapping about hating his mother and father, all of this is a bunch of crap. When I let my Japanese students know what the lyrics are really saying, you should see the look of shock and disgust, so all of this profanity, just not good to be playing over the radio, in elevators etc...

We don't have to like his music, but we have to respect his success. He has achieved more than 99.99% of us and in my book he deserves respect for that fact alone.

Also, if you don't like his music (like me) don't buy it. Just stop saying bad things about him because deep down you're jealous of his success.

He most cetainly has a lot of talent with his music it's just spoilt with the bad language he uses in his lyrics, if he didnt sing about raping his mom and dumb sh!t like that but used his talent in a more positive way he would be alot more acceptable to listen to.

Hard to get everything all in the right place at once though i guess!

Agree, many pop-stars out there that have great potential but ruin it to fit the latest/certain trends.

Now I am not a big fan of Madonna, but she has a good voice and skills for Ballads. Her work in Evita was good as was her song in "A League of their own"(anyway better than her acting in it).

Oh yes, don't get me wrong, Eminem certainly has talent... he's just not my cup of tea... whatever happened to that other white rapper, Vanilla Ice??

Wow, I didn't even know Eminim was still around. He's almost 40 now. Him and Snoop needs to retire.
