Emotional Patrick Stewart unveils new Star Trek

Jeez. Aren't there more important things to be "emotional" about besides this totally make-believe world of fantasy-land?

I think passion for your life is of course emotional, could be acting, could be manning a toll gate having children if it's what you are passionate about there is emotional feeling inside and outside. It's great to see someone have feelings for their vent. That's a life well lived.

Sad that this show is also to be done in the "alternate" time line created by JJ abrams rather than continuing with his original time line. Once again fans are robbed of seeing the original time line progressing and carrying the story forward.

Discovery was a complete disappointment with how they destroyed the fan favorite Klingon race. Lets just hope this series does no further damage to the vision of the creator.

It's escapism. Just like people crying over their favorite football team or getting worked up over what it says in their religious books.
