Oh my dog, enough already, this bunch of 'has beens' have not been relevant for over 15yrs, but they are swamping western papers about their reunion and up coming tour. 'Lovebites or Bandmaid' shoud be on that stage before them to show the world how brilliant they are and how much better.

They have a huge following over here in Japan. This will be nostalgic for some of us Brits.

Uh, they broke up 15 years ago. Before that, they made generation-defining music that touched people all over the world. Since then, the Gallagher brothers have both been successful as solo artists. Noel has continued to evolve as an artist and push the limits of his sound. And in 2022, Liam played two concerts at Knebworth in front of a combined 170,000 people. And they just sold a million tickets in a few hours, and could have probably sold double that amount.
But they’re not relevant at all. Not like global superstars Band-maid or Lovebites.

That’s just an opinion. It’s not a popular opinion, but you’re entitled to it.

Agree totally, it’s beyond nauseating now. Almost as bad as the first time round.
Always have, and always will prefer Suede, Radiohead and Pulp. Especially Suede. In comparison to Oasis, not well-known at all. So it’s like a little secret gathering whenever they come to Japan.

suede yes! oasis heard them once in my car, uwat, were they marketed to be the truly start-up of K-pop? shades n'all,

There are many other things you don't like but you don't especially say that you don't like them, init?

People must have a lot of spare cash to waste it on this pair of miscreants. What a waste of space they are.

That's not how capitalism works. Supply and demand. If there's more demand, people should be able to charge more. If the original seller can, so to should the original buyer turned seller. Imagine if the law prevented stockbrokers from reselling stock they just bought. Global economic collapse would ensue.

I never realised that Oasis were so big first time round. Or has time distorted recollections and given them a false magnificence? In any case, not a bad achievement for couple of scallies from Burnage.

The UK media had a great time amping up their purported "rivalry" with Blur, playing on the stereotypes of the "northern louts" and the "southern, intellectual, slightly effete boys".
Funnily enough the "rivalry" was represented by two songs which represented neither band's best, or even close to it.

Yes, they were rubbish the first time around.
