i think it's ridiculous that they're trying to turn esports into olympic events though.

the craze for video cards due to bitcoin is also creating problems for gamers who want to get into pc gaming, as bitcoin miners have driven up the prices for graphics cards dramatically.

Good to hear Japan is finally making some serious moves into esports. They likely already dominate a lot of console games, but the market isn't big enough for those

The biggest eSports are on PC

One reason Japan fell behind the rest of the world in esports is that Japanese game fans tend to play solitary games, like role-playing games, in contrast to the contest-style games that thrive in esports in the rest of the world
