Ahhh yeah, I'm not quite of the mind where a "poop" museum, no matter how cute, would be on my list for a visit. Putting cuteness on crap and creating a museum is absurd. But because the Japanese live with so many rules, stepping outside normal boundaries is difficult and anti-social. So the absurd, a poop museum, becomes funny and trendy. Next up.... possibly a "booger" museum.

This coming in a country that puts mosaics on porn, but has a penis festival, so I guess nothing is as it seems!

I once had a pink poop. I was seriously ill from eating too much cotton candy.

Aren't we scraping the scatological barrel here ?

I can see those poops shape objects in Japan, anywhere in New Year's days.

I’m happy for them and that they can find cuteness in everything. However, poop is something that I don’t find cute and I will never get my children into the habit of playing with their poop.

How puerile !!!!

Anyone who thinks this is art or cute is developmentally arrested - stuck at some anal stage.

Truely.

On a serious note, there is a SERIOUS problem with elementary school children, particularly boys, who have a serious problem with taking a poop during school hours. Some get quite ill and maybe this museum has an ulterior motive in trying to make it seem lighter!

This is not a museum. It's a faeces Disneyland for kids and infantile adults to snigger at. A real museum would document the real thing. Behold! The Bristol Stool Chart!

Read it and weep, kiddies.
