Still no police involvement? What does it take?

It is also looking into similar accusations leveled against a former male staff member.

Woah! You mean there is more than one? Go figure!

Someone actually going to the police and filing a report. Dont believe for a second though that the cops haven't got their eyes on this. They know, and are biding their time.

Consider this, all this is pure "allegations" so far, and mainly against a dead man.

In my opinion, the odds of this "group" actually making a statement or coming up with any findings of "guilt" will be slim. The best to be expected is more along the lines of "Yeah the possibility of abuse is very strong, and it could be assumed that these men were more than likely victims......."

Unless the police get involved, we'll only get to hear Johnny's laughter from Hell.

I'm sure they will find that Johnny liked young boys and many of the boys were willing to put up with his abuse for the chance to be famous.

Setting up a "Team" of professionals, people that are well indoctrinated into the "Japanese" way / system, to me will yield weak results. We need radicals as part of the team, people that are educated but not afraid to clearly expose everything and implicate all the guilty. These 3 will not do that... they'll placate the masses and achieve little.

The reason the police are not involved is because what happened does not violate social norms here.

For it to have been women instead of blokes that were fiddled with, in which case you’d have the ‘all men are rapists/misogynists’ performative feminist brigade out on the streets demanding (male) heads to roll?

Just a wild guess.

TT

Even some of the boys' mothers were stated to have said that if some unwanted attention from JK was the price to pay for being rich and famous, grit your teeth and bear it, it's probably the only chance you'll have!

This is a circus act! Johnny's founder was a serial child-molester (behavior) and pedophile (thought-only), and his past/current employees, business partners, some parents, and the Japanese entertainment industry were co-conspirators and complicit.

An external team paid for by Johnny's, let me guess nothing was found?

Why is this not a criminal matter and the police involved?

And in the vast female idol industry, fiddling is not a common occurrence, usually unreported?

Logical failure TT.

For a company that size, it seems unlikely a thorough investigation could be completed this quickly…

The japanese public, the police, the government, and most of all the parents have known about the goings on with Johnny and his boy idols for decades. I challenge anyone to deny it

The BBC reporter who revealed all of this shameful and abhorent scandal and cover up was Mobeen Azhar. His reporting and documentaries are on Youtube.

Japan will NEVER seriously investigate its own.

"An external investigative team set up by Japan's top male talent agency Johnny & Associates Inc"

That's not "external".

They'll say there's no one to prosecute and put on trial. The police and prosecutors probably don't have the stomach for going after the important and infuential people in the media and advertising industries who knew what was going on and turned a blind eye to it.

He's dead, what is the point of this?

He's dead, what is the point of this?

The truth, and some justice for his victims for starters.
