Kind of sounds like that that's what he did. Unless you mean the songs themselves contain opinions or views that you don't particularly want to hear.

If you paid to hear him sing then presumably you knew how political many of his songs were, so why did you bother buying a ticket to begin with or do you not listen to and understand the meaning behind the lyrics to many of his songs? Or, did you just make the comments to not so subtely let us know what your politics are?
