They will receive ten of million of dollars for wrongly convicted compensation if they were wrongfully imprisoned for the crime they didn't commit. Nothing can be compensated for their times in prison. They have lost best times of youth life in outside.

Chop chop: the maximum compensation is Y12500 per day of wrongful imprisonment and the government will make every effort to pay nothing at all. These guys will be lucky to get a few million Yen; they certainly won't get millions of dollars. That's Japanese "justice" in action.

The sickening thing is that some police/lawyers/interrogators... whoever, probably knew these men were innocent but locked them up anyway just to balance the statistics and show they "got their man"
