Why should they have them when you're stating that relying on nuclear power is a foolish plan?

...and a large part of the toxic wastes are buried into agricultural earth in the south of Italy, contaminating food, water and people's health, as it has been denunced into the film "Gomorra" by Matteo Garrone based on the journalistic inquirement of the writer Roberto Saviano, who is still living is life under police protection... The revelation of this scandal appeared, when book and film was realeased, as the ironic motto says "the discovering of hot water" but for real the great part of public opinion was ignoring that...
Business, of course! But anti-economic if into the "Sharks" ' mind would appear the consciousness of the damage to humanity. How much it cost to heal from leucemia or cancer? Or to bonify a poisoned land?

You don’t have to be a rouge scholar to conclude the only reason Japan won’t let go of nuclear power is, MONEY! They have invested hundreds of billions of dollars into nuclear power over the past 50 odd years. There is no way they are going to let it go. They also have a huge stockpile of plutonium they can do nothing with.
Japan currently does not have the facilities to create its own mox fuel, nor does it have the facilities to store the nuclear fuel stockpile, half of which is stored on France.
Furthermore, Japan has no plan of how to store spent nuclear fuel, which stays radioactive for up to a thousand years.
its a very foolish plan plan to continue to rely on nuclear power.

Pretty dumb phrase :)
Enlighten yourself what the Japanese public thinks about nuclear power before making conclusions based on a limited knowledge of the issue.

Yep, and not only the Germans but also other continental European nations vice versa as they are on the European grid.
The eco boys & gals may dream that they can phase out not only nuclear power but also fossil energy sources within a few years but the reality that the phasing out of oil and gas will take it least 40 years.

It's a good "Morgen" to next generations have less radioactive garbage, the negative legacy of old generations of 20 and 21 centuries for them.

Haven’t the Japanese known the danger of nuclear since 1945?
Well, of course, just knowing about something in conjunction with passive inaction has meant that Japan’s politician have condemned many future generations to harm.....
