Unfortunately the age group most likely to attend this sort of event is also the least vaccinated one as yet, and consequently most likely to catch/transmit the virus.

Aye, there's the rub. The most vulnerable and the most dead have been the 70+ crowd and most of them got vaxxed. I later got vaxxed @ the VA and now it's the millenials/Gen Z types that will have to worry the most right now. Them and the ones who believe all the conspiracy theory lies.

That's why i'm not going to any mass gatherings until this pandemic is truly over. I'm not worried so much about myself but I don't want to give it to anyone.

The event is outdoors, where passing on Covid is much less likely. It’s the indoor events that will be the real test.

We shall see; while the infection rate is currently falling quite fast, the impact, if any of the opening up and staging of events like this will not come through into the figures for a little while yet. Unfortunately the age group most likely to attend this sort of event is also the least vaccinated one as yet, and consequently most likely to catch/transmit the virus.

there's nothing like being there and seeing the acts live in the flesh. Video drive-ins and Zoom don't cut it.

Too soon, surely!

Jumping the gun. i was supposed to see the Rolling Stones for the 3rd time last year but the gig in Cleveland was not rescheduled. I have dibs for the Detroit and Pittsburgh shows in a couple of months but won't be ready yet. Stones shows are guaranteed stadium fillers and we just ain't over this yet. I just want a refund.
