People in Japan need something to make them move forward and feel optimistic. More charity concerts and other social responsibility programs are initiated by both individuals and business firms. If the disaster costs Japan more than $100 billion, Japanese and international communities will work out together for real-action plans - donation, volunteers and other forms. Please move forward and keep your spirit alive.

I'M ALITTLE SKEPTICAL ABOUT DONATIONS - I've seen this movie - in the first 15 minutes the husband/boyfriend/cheater or whatever the guy speaking french is and the french woman is in a hotel. the woman says, " I'm going to shop and get the children something. " I don't know if it is her children or his children or their children. I'm confused ! ! ! But the children are in france somewhere. And the french couple is in some kind of tropical country. The husband/boyfriend/cheater is really lazy to get out of the bed to buy something for the children. Anyways the woman walks to the front lobby and says send something ( breakfast ) to room whatever for the man in my room. She leaves the hotel and shops at a outdoor shopping district looks like thailand or mexico somewhere.

Anyways tsunami happens !!! And she is carried away. She's underwater most of the time because the waves were huge. She is pulled underwater and her head was hit by debris. Somehow 2 men saw her body floating by she is pulled to the surface by an older man and a ship explodes close to the 2 men. Then men are distracted and the woman has a near death experience. She wakes up spitting water because she almost drowned.

Her husband/cheater lover/ boyfriend finds her few hours later the cry and more At the end of the movie, she finds matt damon. She forgets about the children/ boyfriend/husband/cheater french dude and matt d. and french lady walks down and english road.

Yes the movie should be pulled - Please be careful of fake donation people. They could be yak's or evil people. Many donation scam artists are forever present now.

wow whiskeysour. what a bunch of nonsense. i am sure the people who have not seen the movie or care to see the movie appreciate the spoilers in your rant. what do fake donations have to do with what you said?

It's just a movie. Japanese need to grow some thicker skin and this paternalistic b.s. ('people are too sensitive too watch this') needs to effing stop. That said, I haven't seen the movie and it doesn't look good.

after 9/11 bombings, the arnold schwartzenegger movie 'collateral damage' was also pulled from U.S. theaters. movie was about terrorist attacks. it's just a movie. Americans need to grow some thicker skin and this paternalistic b.s. ('people are too sensitive to watch this') needs to effing stop. that said, i HAVE seen the movie and it DOESN'T look good.
