Ah yes, because this is what the world needs: yet another K-pop band...

Good for them, wishing them success for the future.

I worked alongside a defector from North Korea. I was very impressed at how honest, smart, and hard working he was. Haven't heard from him in many years, but hoping that things got better for him and his wife.

One day perhaps North Korea will be rid of the utterly evil Kim Dynasty and all the people can join the 21st century.

We can always hope he learns real music and doesn't get exploited by some greedy Svengali like so many of these lip-syncher 'bands' are.

But when he was 13, his mother, who had escaped North Korea and made it to the South, urged him to join her.

He realized this could be his chance to escape starvation and hardship, but said he knew nothing about the other half of the Korean peninsula.

Would have been nice if they had said how he escaped. I am fascinated by those types of hardship stories and wanted to hear the details. I'll Google him. Good luck to them

The boy band is cool and all, but I rather hear how they escaped from the North.

There was time before the "boyband" when music spilled out from the soul.

I found this from my fathers singles collection, written produced a while before I was born.

Today, the here and now, is talent judged by being able to contort the body, instead of simple music vocals.
