I see no basis at all for me to either forgive or forget either Depp or Heard. Nothing either has done is nearly on a level that is going to come back to me or society. If either appears in another great film, I will watch.

Vanessa,

I disagree, Johnny was railroaded BIGTIME, he as I already said NEEDS to deal with his substance\vice issues as many regular folks do!! Amber on the other hand to me is straight evil & manipulative as hell, she deserves to be blacklisted from Hollywood for sure, she needs to be called on her abusive nature she has clearly demonstrated!

He'll have a career. He is a wonderful actor, and has a fair number of fans. She had only a modest career before, mostly based on her beauty. But she is getting older, doesn't really have any acting chops at all that I have seen, and I don't see her being a big box office draw, especially as there are many people who plain dislike her. Some producer may think he will get free PR by casting her, though. If that movie flops, then she's history.

Commanteer

Agreed, Johnny should be able to come back, hope he does, up to him. Amber on the other hand should be toast as far as Hollywood in concerned & yeah she is getting old, can see it in her face, the wall is coming quickly for her, any guy that gets involved with her from now gets NO sympathy from me!

I hope Amber Heard isn't able to walk away from this unscathed. It would betray the whole point of the the #metoo movement she exploited to claim victimhood.

Depp has his fair share of drug and alcohol demons but Heard has been shown to both be a prolific mental and physical abuser and a pathological liar. I genuinely don't think Heard was after Depp's money but she needs some serious psychological intervention.

She contributed to the de-legitimization of an important and necessary social movement to try and abdicate herself from the consequences of her actions. It needs to be demonstrated that this sort of behavior from either gender is something that will no longer be tolerated in modern society.

The gist of this is that Amber is painting Johnny to be an Antichrist (so to speak) while she keeps on digging her own ditch with her lies, and she keeps crapping her pants in public. She's destroying her own reputation herself. The case is Johnny Depp vs. The Sleazy Sun and she needs to quit making such an embarassment and acting like such a hateful wench.

I'd hate to be Amber Heard's next boyfriend. You wouldn't know how she would react to what you say or do in and out of bed.

This obsession with dysfunctional "celebs" is yet another strand in the ongoing demise of values.  shameful how we just shrug as his admitted substance abouse while tens of thousands around the globe are locked up for lesser abuse.  And how we tolerate her ridiculous behavior while prosecuting others for "hate speech" or other lesser bad behavior.  Shame.

There are more important things in the world than fretting about self-absorbed Hollywood types.

I hadn't really followed this case until last week or so. I read and watched a few videos of the trial and interviews given by those involved. It seems pretty clear who the real victim was in this case and who the liar is. If the judge has any common sense, he'll make the right decision. I'm just hoping he has experience dealing with manipulative, narcissistic and sociopathic people. If not, he is the most gullible and naive person in the world.

If you want someone worth cancelling, his name is Roman Polanski. I watched Ninth Gate but then kicked myself after when the credits rolled and I realized that drug rapist directed and produced it. The guy should be 100 percent ostracized.

Agreed, clearly no one should just be believed, PROOF is needed, amber has shown this to be true and THEN some!!

She needs to pay for her lies, deceit & the violence she rained on Johnny.

Johnny should clean up his vices & get back on track!

The only thing I’m more tired of than Johnny Depp and Amber Whothehellcares is Harry and what’s her name.

Why are you tired of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard? What have they done?

Best way is to forgive, but never forget. Amber on the other hand, banish and forget!
