Seen and met his son Ky-Mani and I've seen his son Ziggy, four times - three with his siblings the Melody Makers and once solo. Ziggy's shows features a Bob song every 4th song in his set. He doles out free roasted hemp seed packets at his shows. He's an amazing performer who carries his father's torch. The legacy of the Master Blaster lives on.
Reggae is forever!

We listened to this great reggae artist even behind the iron curtain, knowing we would never make it to Jamaica for listening a live concert with him. Then he died so early and also the curtain fell down... Yes, you guess it, still not possible to make it to Jamaica, because of no money and in addition now the corona restrictions. Remains only his music as just as decades ago...

I don't like how the word "genius" is easily flouted here.
Nobody can dispute it. he was a GENIUS.

Don’t like his pop music so much, but I recommend people check out his real music. He’s a god. Check out his music with Lee Perry. Best in the world for genra.

Bob Marley’s still blazin‘, somewhere. - Gone but not forgotten.

Had the lot - the talent, the voice, the stage presence, the looks...
Whole package.

People with no regard for the great ambassador of reggae, or grudge holders, I'm guessing.
They should listen to the Catch a Fire, Live or Exodus albums and reconsider their choices.
