It is too bad. 52 seems so young, but why? Prince and Bowie were no spring chickens, but one gets this idea that these guys are going to last as long as most of the Rolling Stones, and they don't. It is a shocker.

This is scraping the bottom of the barrel, celebrity death-wise.

Exactly, the only thing Berry did was leave the group and get replaced by Ad-Rock. They were nobodies until 1986 with Ad-Rock so probably 99% of Beastie fans only know 86 and on. Anyways RIP!

This is scraping the bottom of the barrel, celebrity death-wise. No disrespect intended, but I've never heard of this guy despite being a fan of the Beasties for 30 years. When they blew up in 1986, we managed to get hold of Cookie Puss, but had to wait many years for Pollywog Stew to be re-released on Some Old Sh##.

You have to be pretty old school to know Berry. The big hit was Yauch dying four years or so back, but still sad. These guys are dying too young... And dementia at 52?! RIP
