Rock band Glay wrapped up their all-Japan tour at the Saitama Super Arena on Sunday. For the final stop on the tour, Glay performed before approximately 20,000 fans and included their hit, “Yuwaku” and new single, “Precious.”
Glay recorded the highest turnout in the history of Japanese music in 1999, when 200,000 fans attended a single performance during their “Pure Soul” tour. Vocalist Teru described the record-setting event as “a dream come true” and wrapped up their recent tour with a plea for audiences to cheer them on in accomplishing a similar turnout again.
The tour featured 37 performances in 29 venues. Next the band will hold live performances on July 30 and 31 to commemorate the 15th year since the founding of their fan club.

I don't approve of the name "Glay."
KansaiTruth
so 90s. and agreed - so misspelled!
LoveUSA
you do no need to approve everything on this planet. take a break.
Sarge
I read that "Glay" is officially a deliberate misspelling of the word "gray," with gray referring to the type of music they play, a mix of rock and pop. Okei...

LOL!

The audience will cheer them because their songs are meaningful and sung by men whose strong opinion counts and impresses, not like the weak meaningless songs I usually ignore because the singer and the text lack appeal and will be forgotten immediately after heard as something not worthy the attention.
you dont approve Glay name, you dont approve me, who cares? Glay will be successful without your approval.

If you do not like somebody, no need to listen to them. This is a good advice I can give you.
MrDog
Hahahahahahaha. Did you get them confused with Rage Against The Machine or someone? It's Glay. They write tepid pre-pubecent poetry, backed with equally tepid music while dressed so out of date it's sad to look at them.
spikemillwoywoy
Rage against the Machine?Barrel of laughs those boys.. Is there a more depressive slop of gloom and doom than that racket.I stopped listening to misguided sermons on war and the police in music on entering university...
MrDog
I know what you mean. I just think they fit more to
...then those ladyboys Glay.

I understand you so well. It is such a fresh and happy feeling - ignore and wipe out the things you are disgusted or annoyed with. If you do not like Glay as musicians, don't listen to them, if you dislike some person, ignore him, they you will feel ok. Glay recorded the highest turnout in the history of Japanese music but if you don't like them, it is fine, they won't cry because they seem to have so many fans.
MrDog
I don't like the so I don't listen to them.
WOW. The Japanese music scene is so diverse, innovative and full of amazing bands, so Glay must be AMAZING! Imagine what it would be like if the music scene here was dull, boring, re-recycled rubbish out of touch with the rest of the world. Wait a minute...
goddog
Clay would have been a better name as it has meaning to it. Good luck at the bank boys.
Gurukun
I don't listen to them. It's just that the article started with "Rock band Glay....." That's what's funny. Rock band...No.
almost music....maybe..

This MrDog guy cares too much to express his dislike of a band he probably doesn't even know well. So you don't think much of the band or of Japanese music in general? Hmmm, so what? Does it matter so much for you? It probably doesn't matter much for them (the band).
MrDog
You think the Japanese music scene is good? For someone who has made only 6 comments, 5 of them being about Glay, I can only imagine that I've hurt your feelings about your beloved ladyboy-band. I apologize.
"It probably doesn't matter much for them", yeah, I know, they can buy all the hairspray and stupid clothes they want while I'm all penniless and sad, sitting at my computer getting called out by a wapanese. Oh, the tears are just ROLLING down my cheeks.
Gurukun
MrDog-LOL!
I gotta agree. There ore only vary vary vary few good musicians in Japan and Glay is not one of them.
