Golden Globes to go ahead despite TV blackout over diversity row

There are plenty of black stars who deserve to be honored but the sexism and bullying ruckus transcends all that. Besides, what has hollyweird really done this past year that amounts to anything? Who's going to remember the Golden Globes for 2020 and who's going to remember some of these winners 20 tears from now?

This month, the HFPA admitted 21 new members in what it dubbed "the largest and most diverse" new class in its 78-year history, with a similar expansion planned next year.

How nice it must be to show up to a job interview with a darker skin pigment and immediately being told that you're hired.

No black members probably means no Asians either because in America blacks are higher up on the ladder than Asians when it comes to social status. I'm not really criticising America lol I'm just stating a fact. America is a complicated country.

Honestly the Anglosphere is just becoming more a joke day by day. America in particular.

Europe is so much more appealing to me now. Macron is right. American social justice culture is the antithesis of what classical western liberalism has been striving for decades to achieve. A colour blind society. Instead, leftists in America demand the opposite. See colour and oppression at every turn. Not enough women, not enough black Americans, not enough hispanic Americans and on and on and on.

For those that still believe in the original Western project, you have to utterly and completely reject this nonsense.

That's not really the Big Issue here. The problem is, the TV and movie industry has been Suck City for over 20 years or more. There are good entertainers of every color, etc. but we need good and original stories. We need funny punchlines and humor. Ever since guys like the 6 y/o Adam Sandler was taken to be funny and the tired rehashed Disney formula came around during the mid 90s or so, the quality has nose-dived.

Who's going to remember the winners, contestments or judges next year? Two years from now? Five? Ten?
