Axle is just NOW figuring this out?

Mnuchin surprisingly found time to tweet back.

"What have you done for the country lately?" he asked the rockstar, seeking to reinforce his patriotic stance by adding a flag emoji.

Unfortunately, the Yale and Goldman Sachs alum put not the U.S. flag but that of Liberia.

Priceless! All that is missing is a big top and a few elephants and the circus would be complete. The clowns have been here for almost four years.

I predict a rewrite of their song Get In the Ring. The outdated stuff about Spin Magazine/Bob Guccione gets replaced by a list of Trump admin turdblossoms.

On the other hand, maybe Mnuchin really is a superfan and is voicing a complaint about later duds like Chinese Democracy? Condi Rice loves Led Zeppelin so you never know.

If Mnuchin knew more about the US economy, he would praise Axl for the way he kept generations of carny workers busy cueing up Sweet Child O Mine on the Tilt O Whirl tape deck.

Even if Axl has done squat for the motherland Liberia, it was the prevailing attitude of their scene. Most hair metal musicians were MIA in that We Are the World telethon too.

"What have you done for the country lately?" he asked the rock star...

Rose did release "Chinese Democracy" in the 2000s, however it had little impact in Liberia.

Mnuchin is right. What have you done for the country at all? Rose is just a bitter washed up has been of a so called musician. No one misses him.

Well, apart from the people that made the last tour the 3rd highest grossing of all time, no-one.

Is this guy still alive? I don’t know what to say. At least he’s better than Trump. I guess.

He's still alive? I feel dirty for clicking on this story.

Don't know anything about Mnuchin, but Axl could easily be correct.

Stay off twitter, please all of you.

Way ahead of you. I'm down to 5 fake accounts for "security research" purposes and ZERO real accounts for any use. Same with FB and google-whatever.

The Hesser crowd? They would I guess, if they’re still around.

Could you elaborate on the “security research” you mentioned?

What is it with Donny and his people being unable to rise as ice the fray and act professional? It’s as if 7 year olds are running our country. No offense to 7 year olds, of course.

Trying to hide behind the flag................. picked the wrong flag, lol

What is it with Americans believing that by simply brandishing the flag next to them, they actually think that always make their message more patriotic

If your message is patriotic, ya don't need the flag to show for it - your message stands on its own

Rather, brandishing the flag is more like a crutch that people use when their message cannot stand on its own

Many hard rockers did their own collaboration on the 'USA For Africa' collaboration. They called themselves 'Hear 'N' Aid'.

There's a lot of Pavlov dogs in America who see someone with the Stars and Stripes (and/or a Christian cross) and they instantly kowtow to that person. It's sad. It's also funny that the 'patriotic' idiot used the wrong flag at that! That even further shows just how stupid some people really are.
