Yuzuru Hanyu's figure skating display in the men's short program at the Sochi Winter Olympics drew a surprisingly high TV audience rating of 13.4%, Video Research reported Friday.
The event began at midnight Thursday Japan time with Hanyu, 19, skating at around 3 a.m. Friday.
According to Video Research, the viewer rating reached 13.4% in the Kanto region at 3 a.m., and 15.3% in the Kansai.

Only had two countries to root for, and glad they both finished on top. But, wow! What a lot of mistakes!

I saw first the Canadian guy performance and I didn't like it that much, my sister-in-law told me that the Japanese guy was better, so I looked up online and It didn't surprise me that he got the gold (even though he fell twice) his performance was simply beautiful!
