Why do people like this stuff. 20 minutes was enough for me.

Me too, but I think I'll consider watching the FINALE IN 3D!

If you are not a kid or do not have kids, do not bother to comment. Harry Potter books and movies are for children, children love these novels and movies. Kind of like ET and Close Encounters of a Third Kind but the British version. I know, I know the people posting their comments here had a rough childhood and with they could understand the magic of having a childhood fantasy, but only children, with pure hearts and minds can really enjoy Harry Potter and every time I see my children with their mouths open, sitting on the edge of their seats it is bliss, because I know that they can feel the magic in Harry Potter.

I read one chapter of the first book - it was utter bollocks - Enid Blyton on drugs.

I am not a kid nor do i have kids yet, but my husband and I have always enjoyed fantasy films and books simply because of the magic and immagination of them -some more or less than others. Almost any genre can be allegorical of life's struggles and reflect our own lives, but fantasy gives you something that not all genres can give...

It is best explained by this quote, "No, I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith. And that, I fear, for any reasoning, conscious being, would be the cruelest trick of all." - Drizzt Do'Urden R. A. Salvatore's 'Streams of Silver' Forgotten Realms
