Overrated story...

Overrated author...

And now Overrated TV Series..

Absolutely NO THANKS..

The original stories were extremely enjoyable. Anyone who went through a four-house secondary school could relate to Hogwarts despite the magic.

I cannot see how the TV series could be overrated as it hasn't even begun yet!

I will look forward to the series, until it eventually gets to Japan.

@TokyoLiving

No one is forcing you to watch it. Also saying those things doesn’t make you look cool.

As someone who went to schools with designated school houses, the series really resonated with me. I've always hoped for a TV adaptation of the books and I think if done correctly, can be amazingly successful. The long form of a TV series will definitely allow them to really flesh out all the details and give characters cut out from the films cough Peeves cough its due.

Tokyo living - (literally) underrated comment. I helped contributing to your stellar score. I can really guess you haven't read the books.

If that's true and you haven't yet read the books, I urge you (and every child and adult out there) to. I think the series will bring out the details inevitably left out from the movies, and hopefully new ones as well.

I would think the movies are still recent enough to interest children that get into the target age for the books, maybe something different is planned for the series, some extra details? side stories?

Outstanding author - and completely agree with her views on social issues.

Sounds like fun.

The Scottish writer

While she now lives in Edinburgh, she was born and brought up in England. I think she only moved to Edinburgh when in her late 20s. I may be wrong, but I doubt she would describe herself as Scottish.

Way too overrated. She doesn't even play in the same league as Goethe or Schiller lol
