Harvey's case has shown the world that dating and romance in the business world should be strictly banned.

Rape and assault is now "dating and romance" is it? Edgy.

What do our fellow female contributors think?

That his behavior is surprising in the world of celebrity and entertainment is itself a little surprising.  In the sense that a big part of the industry is built around sexuality and libido and looks and power.  Put those together and almost inevitable there aill be some bad behavior.  And indeed so many allegations have been made.  The last decades have been full of books and similar where the ability of the rich and famous to use and abuse groupies and wannabe talent and so on has been discussed, nay celebrated.

Doesn't make it right, but it was fairly common knowledge.

As for HW, my guess he will escape pretty unharmed.  if he doesn't pop his clogs first.

He did this to himself! Rape is not romance, it's about overpowering + fear. Uma Thurman was raped by this sack of crap and he tried to kill her in a jeep scene with faulty brakes. Seen her latest movie? Don't think so!

HW has been domineering and overbearing over so many actresses' careers and lives and now he's getting his due. I don't feel the least bit sorry for this scumbag!

Burning BushJan. 6 10:35 am JSTAny man dating at work in this climate is putting his head into a guillotine and handing the woman the rope.

Both while he puts the moves on her and after they break up, she can instantly destroy his career with one call to HR.

Err... No

And men are figuring it out and changing their behaviour accordingly.

That's crap and you know it. Harvey Weinstein, R Kelly, Bill Cosby, Donald Trump are all predator scum and they have records and rap sheets to prove it.

Of course you'll see a small number of allegations with no basis. Remember that jive about the late George Bush being a butt-slapper? That didn't fly, I knew it wouldn't fly and I never believed that for a sec. Beings he was a POTUS, if that were true we would've known about that a long long time ago.

Is he a scumbag? Yes of course. No normal woman would sleep with him unless there was some 'quid pro quo'. And that's the problem. No doubt myriad aspiring starlets made the executive decision to service the Harv in return for movie roles and a boost up the ladder. Probably to the point that he assumed that everyone was available to him and acted accordingly. Must be a huge ego boost for a man with his looks to be the target of so much affection however faux it may be.

It isn't so simple as some would have you believe.
