He's gotta have it: Spike Lee's Cannes cash-in

Spike Lee has many supportive fans. Also, enjoyed his early works.

Yet, as stated in the above article, (and in posts last week,) ‘Spike’ has a propensity to “cash in” in ‘selective’ agendas. Lee will also “cash out” when it’s not convenient or, something is not “cash-worthy”. Some history: His mother thought “Spike” sounded ‘tougher’ than Shelton.

Lee’s current dog is named “Ginger”. However, Lee hasn’t won any awards with PETA or others for his depictions of the callous treatment and murder of animals: “Crooklyn’s Cruel to Animals & Viewers”

Contrary to his public persona as an activist, Lee is is purported to be fairly ‘conservative’ both, ‘a card-carrying member of the ARPA’ and ‘a hat-wearing MAGO supporter’. 

Conclusions: Spike Lee’s been willing to lend his image to ‘certain’ public causes yet,

his financial contributions to causes are not known at this time. (Perhaps his fans with his tax returns will lend more information about his charitable contributions?)

Spike Lee and his films? Totally over-rated, I say.

Some context @CKAI 3:55pm.That aside was for those asserting aspects of a celebrity’s true nature, their celebrated character & outgoing public-altruism can also be demonstrated by the charitable contributions on their tax returns.

After all, it’s their ‘image’ contributing to the overall ESG of the studios, corporations & products they endorse and/or represent, and “That is the bottom line”. (Perhaps we all need to ‘fall in line‘ as eventually, we may all be assigned individual ESG scores, less we be cancelled?)

As for PETA. Those showboats talk a good game but they never figured it out. They have a rap sheet miles long. They like to 'do' the one thing while 'saying' the other.

And as for asserting aspects and true natures… How about that. Spike is in the limelight. Seizing his moment and turning a profit on his name. More than I can say for.. uh, the uh… photographer?? whose it- what's it… Who'd she cut a deal with? Why'd she get her name printed up next to Spike for… talking out loud, tossing her salty attitude around her like- "yokozuna just entered the ring"

I like Spike Lee and his movies, but he does need to get that fat chip he has off his shoulders for sure.

I feel bad for Spike Lee, as Hollywood is holding him back from reaching his potential. He should have gotten the same chances as other directors.

For example;

He has also collaborated with Louis Vuitton for his Cannes wardrobe.

It is obvious he has been exploited, and this is obviously die to social and cultural factors.
