and a senator is determined to hold him accountable . Another senator blames the aliens....

I dunno, something about this never really made me feel the hype that a Marvel movie does. I think I'll probably wait for it to be rented like I did with Man of Steel.

Some reason DC films haven't been able to wow us with the exception of the Batman series.

I'm looking forward to when someone gets on the ball and makes a very good adaptation of "The Destroyer" comics... now that will be freakin' awesome. Remo Williams was ok but made in the 80s, it had the feel but not the umph.

This is an incredibly stupid idea this flick......what on earth were they thinking! its mostly based off the comic books, they do there battle and then become friends joining together to form the "justice league" oh and wonder woman joins them.

Superman: superhuman strength, can fly, and the ability to melt things with his eyes alone. Vs. Batman: a man in a rubber suit

This should be a pretty short movie.

Ah_so - Exactly, exactly! How could mere mortal Batman ever hope to defeat immortal Superman, anway?

"Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg)"

I hope Jesse can fill Gene Hackman's shoes!

Batman: a man in a rubber suit

I haven't seen the movie. Maybe Kryptonite is involved. In any case, both characters were much less complicated when they were first conceived. Now, everybody has to be gloomy, and troubled by inner turmoil. This is what happens when you get rid of art, music, and physical education in the public schools.

Who would win: Superman or Batman without a kryptonite?

Correct answer: Batman. He never comes unprepared without a kyrptonite (otherwise, he wouldn't be Batman).

@lostrune2: I believe Batman is smarter than Superman.

Guys come on it's just a movie based on a comic. And to answer the fight would be short, no it would not. Superman is the ultimate nice guy he would not kill another guy for no reason (Ok, he killed Zod but he has his reasons). Batman explains it himself, biggest weakness of superman is that deep down Clark Kent is a nice guy and Bruce Wayne is a bad guy. Also, yes kryptonite and Batman is the best detective on the planet don't forget! Just to say looking forward to that flick!!!

Since when has Batman ever fought fairly? The "Tower of Babel" Justice League series showed that he is the most paranoid/prepared human that has ever lived haha.

If it runs like graphic novel Batman will be close to retiring and he will have a special custom build suit. iIRC, it turned into a draw.

How about Superman and Batman vs Alien and Predator?

Never happen, but how about Batman vs The Comedian ( or The Punisher Vs Rorshak ) !

Gal Gadot is attractive, but not robust enough.

Linda Carter, now, there was a wonder woman.

Bravo! But you forgot, "and add 'Common Core'."

Kryptonite is not going to stop the large boulders that Superman could throw at supersonic speeds towards Batman

@Black Sabbath: a couple years ago, Linda announced retiring.. One Islarri girl was chosen but no one can replace her. So we are still watching her Nazi destroying action on every Sat evening.
