Nothing like a photo-op.

What does she hope to do there? Yes, it is nice that you care but what is your purpose? Celebrities... :-/

Like her or not for her issues in personal life, Angelina Jolie has been working on for over 21 years, on her own and as a special envoy & goodwill ambassador. Can’t fault her for that. Let’s hope this attention continues to aids all refugees and people in crisis around the world.

Don't knock her. She has money, she has a platform and right now, the more that is known about the plight of that area the better. Wanna talk about a photo op? Take a look at the recent photo of Sec Austin and Blinkin with Zelensky. Both secretaries are smiling, only Zelensky isn't. What is there to smile about?

Like it or not, people look up to celebrities and want to be like them. Having Angelina Jolie visiting Ukraine will bring more attention amd awareness to the situation and encourage her fans and other people to help. Angelina herself is a UN goodwill ambassador and she can use her influence and connections to help those in Ukraine. She's been participating in these UN tours for years trying to make a difference no matter how small. At least she's using her platform and power to do good.

How many did she adopt?

Hopefully this photo op and show will go towards opening some wallets of celebs to donate a few mill each towards helping orphaned and displaced children of Ukraine.

Jolie is a Special Envoy for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency and has visited many strife-torn countries to raise awareness of humanitarian crises.

To her great credit she visited Yemen earlier this year:

The UNHCR doesn't differentiate between worthy and unworthy victims.

Angelina is doing a great job as peace ambassador. Her works are worthy of emulation. More power to you Angelina, and let's pray for Ukraine.

I am totally for celeb such actions. Praise deserved to have the guts to go into a country torn by war.

Essential not to forget innocent people suffer.

Angelina is giving hope to people. I can imagine the Ukrainian people getting encouraged because of her visit. Please be safe.

Surprised no face masks being worn in any photos.

Something that doesn’t seem to be part of the Ukraine news is what’s happening with covid. No food or water, unlikely to be many masks, people crammed together for days or weeks on end in underground, poorly ventilated basements….I would imagine the virus would run rampant, yet we hear nothing of it.

23000 Ukrainian soldiers deaths announced by Zelensky

I remember her going to Mosul (I think that was the place). The people there were living in a pile of rubble, no food, little clothing, no housing, absolutely nothing.

And she ended the video by saying 'At least they are free'. Jesus Christ.

Perhaps her ex could go to eastern Ukraine and comfort those who had their houses and relatives bombed by the Azov Battalion.

She’s famous, her intentions are good and any publicity is good publicity. No problem!
