About time Clint came to his senses.

Better late than never.

Wait until, if ever, the “Dem establishment” (Bernie’s word) decides to turn on Bloomberg. Then Clint will find out what a vile person Bloomberg is. He’ll be back.

Trump should act "in a more genteel way, without tweeting and calling people names,"

As if that's the most important thing about a president. Far more important than let's say, policies.

Love Clint, but wonder what he’s going to when Bloomberg gets beat?

He could just do a screaming 180 and join a ‘lunatic fringe’.

Good for Clint, a rugged individualist if there ever was one.

Did you feel the same when he voted for Trump as well?

He could just do a screaming 180 and join a ‘lunatic fringe’.

He would never vote Democrat, he’s definitely got more sense than that.

Surely the rugged individualist would support the poor farmers against the robber barons that want to steal their land? Sounds like Clint has merely switched support from one robber baron to another....

You claim, among many things, to have voted for Clinton twice. Clinton was a democrat. What does that say about the sense you have according to your own metric?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Don't worry. Trump's got Chuck Norris and Chachi!

@expat

His endorsement means nothing.

You nailed it. There's nothing more to say, really. Except...

You just have to take your hat off to the people who bring you a regular chuckle. Step forward, again...

@bass4funk

Umm, he's *endorsed*** **a guy who, while not normally thought of as a Democrat, is running for selection as the Democratic candidate. If (unlikely though it is) Bloomberg gets the nomination, you'd have to say it's extremely likely old Clint would vote for him. Is there a gap in my logic somewhere?

@darknuts

Trump calls things like he sees it and doubles down when challenged. That's the type of person I want in the White house. Someone with a spine. Something Bernie lacks.

Someone with the spine to enable white supremacists, tear apart mothers and children at the border, etc. What a hero.

You can disagree with someone's policies if you like. That's your right. But to suggest that Sanders lacks spine, the conviction of his principles, just confirms you as someone lacking in ... you know the rest.

Wonder if Trump will think up one of his schoolyard nicknames for Clint. Anyway, Bloomberg would be so much better than Trump so good on Eastwood for admitting so.

CBP are white supremacist now? Listen to yourself. Yet another indication of how lost the left is. So what if Trump is a potty mouth. You can't handle something as juvenile as someone calling you a bad name? What is this third grade?

Bernie couldn't even keep a woman half his size from snatching his mic away. He apologizes to his opponents for factual exposes. He gets owned by Elizabeth Warren on national TV and he's supposed to be your hero? He's supposed to stand up to Putin and Xi? He doesn't even have the respect of his own supporters much less anyone else.

It has been pointed out to you that he does more than call names. He posted an unflattering photo of someone’s wife and said his father was part of an assassination plot. He spreads other trash conspiracy theories including birtherism. He retweeted dodgy material from a racist organization while president earning a rebuke from the UK PM.

Are you determined not to read or address this low-life and often toxic trash?

@darknuts

 He's supposed to stand up to Putin and Xi?

Intelligent people know that he will. Somebody has to. Trump has shamelessly asked, publicly, for Russia and China to meddle in US affairs.

The world has seen that he's willing to lick Putin's shoes if and when instructed to do so. We can only take an educated guess at what Russia has on Trump ("video", "prostitutes" are the obvious starting point, how bad it gets after that is anyone's guess).

Noooo... Saying there were "fine people on both sides" at the white fascist incident in Charlottesville suggests that he supports white supremacists. Try to get a grip.

That's a MAJOR blow to Trump. This is a high profile flip. Clint flipped TO Trump, and now Clint flipped from him. This is equivalent to how a lot of people who voted for Obama, then voted for Trump in the next election, out of dissatisfaction on how Obama ran the country. People like Clint, who went to Trump, have now watched him fail for four years, literally make America a laughingstock of the world, and create a runaway train economy, through reduction of regulation and pumping up the debt, which will crash as it is unsustainable (for a full breakdown, read Warren Buffet's latest report and unwillingness to invest in the stock market).

The people who still have pride in America as a nation, will not stand for another four years of Trump. Many, many of those people voted for him the first time around.

And any of the right who thinks that I'm talking garbage is simply guilty of the exact same things they rightly criticized the left for in the last election - being out of touch both on how the people feel, and on just how angry the people are. That was huge mistake for the Democrats, and will show itself to be a yuge mistake for the Republicans.

He's supposed to stand up to Putin and Xi?

Would you prefer he meet with them in private like Trump?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Love Clint. He's directed and starred in some of the best American movies over the last 50 years. That said, his support for either Trump or Bloomberg leaves me cold.

Both billionaires need their assets dismantled and given to the poor and needy. Even that wouldn't atone for their mistakes.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

What mistake?

Clearly someone hasn't been following the news or careers of these two over the last few decades. Many posters have kindly devoted much time and energy to do so, and to furnish disingenuous types with information on many, many occasions.

And every single time, the evidence is ignored or an automatic reply of "liberals" is proffered as some kind of analysis.

Go ahead, make your day. But that's all you're getting from me.
