Openly talking about an agenda for propaganda as if it was atarimae…. Lol

you can’t make this stuff up!

Hollywood’s role is to entertain me (which they have already been struggling with the last decade +), not to teach me.

if they went full on propaganda like this article suggests they should, they would implode completely.

Not doing enough? How many of the "36 key words and phrases" per minute/hour will they consider enough?

Maybe they can just require a ticker running continuously at the bottom of the screen, throughout a program or a movie, just to get on with the show.

Will they make it as obvious as their woke gender/race agenda, and eventually making movies that should have never happened? Like the Ghostbusters movie with all chicks.

Hollywood so called "culture" is just liberal progressive proLGBT oriented rubbish.

lets turn the page.

Hollywood prefers race-based and gender-based agendas because it's easy to get across; in an instant the human eye sees what the studio wants them to see, no need for explanations, preaching, moralizing, etc. It's unspoken propaganda, which is far more effective.

Agree, what Hollywood doesn’t need is more activists dipping their holy fingers in more scripts. No matter what the agenda, it’s cheapens the entire process and treats the audience like idiots. Wait for the next step, fill in the blank reference quotas. Sorry, these are not the droids you are looking for.

Art has always been an instrument for change. To dismiss as propaganda those things with which you disagree is to demand propaganda for the status quo--sometimes entertaining, but almost always trite. We've already had a Hollywood which was without concern for what was happening in our country or in the world: an entire decade plus of "Pillow Talk," thanks mostly to Joe McCarthy's insane fear of ideas.

I watched the remake of The day the earth stood still again two nights ago. I forgot how bad it was and especially that dull meaningless ending. I’m sure you all know the original was about nuclear weapons and the threat to other planets. Not the new version. Nope, the aliens are here to wipe us out and save the planet from our wasteful ways(Tokyo trash cans anyone), then change their mind because the guy from Monty Python had a chit chat.

See, that could have worked as a comedy, it could have been very Douglas Adams.
